The Del Sharrons monthly newsletter

Welcome to our new Monthly newsletter
In the Del Sharrons world it’s been busy for us with Curtis away applying his talents to a cruise ship house band for a month we have had Barry French stepping in on drums, a what a great job he’s done filling in for Curtis. We will be no doubt be using Barry in the future if Curtis becomes unavailable, also for one gig we had David Pearson come in for Dan while Dan was busy playing in Jimmy and the Hound dogs, yet again a very good replacement very skilled and again will be used to fill in when Dan is away with his other bands. Coming up we have two great gigs we are really looking forward to.
Gigs played
August 8th saw us play for the first time as the Del Quiff’s the reason is we have been added to a very to Warble Entertainments band rota a very successful international promotion company. For reasons to protect their own advertising on their website and to stop them being undercut by people viewing there website then bypassing there agency and going direct to the Artist, they have asked us to change are name, it wasn’t something we were very keen on but we said for now we will do it to see how working with an agency goes, so if you see any events as the Del Quiffs it is us exactly the same as the Del Sharron’s but with a different name.
The Social Bar in Doncaster was the venue and we had a fantastic gig it was very well attended with some great dancing going on, we were lucky enough to have someone in the crowd to video us see that here

August 21st saw us perform at the Newbold Verdon Sports & Social Club for Neil and the Ibstock & District pool league presentation night, TheSocial Club had a very large stage and dance floor so this venue would be perfect for dancing so we hope to be back there at some point, we enjoyed the night and had fun

August 29 saw us performing at another new venue The Stanwick Club Wellingborough, again this was a lovely club very smart with a large dance floor for dancing, we had a really enjoyable time and we will be returning back there twice next year.
