The Del Sharrons news letter

Welcome to our new Monthly newsletter
In the Del Sharrons world its been a bit quiet on the gig front but behind the scenes we have been working very hard in every aspect promotion, new members, videos and most important new music.
We welcome Scott Baldwin to the band as our bassist he will be helping adding to the band his great bass playing skills enthusiasm and energy.

Gigs played

Now on the gig front we have had some new venues we've been playing at, the first was at the Ffestiniog railway and we all had a tremendous time, we had a free ride on the train and were generally treated like stars, we've been gladly asked if we could go back so without a doubt we shall be heading back over to Wales at some point next year.
EDS Family fun day was a success well attended and we had a great turn out, the weather managed to stay nice for the event, we had a great time in support of raising awareness for Elhers Danlos Syndrome which Sharon suffers with herself so it was great for us to show our support.

We performed at Ye Olde Red Lion in Market Bosworth was great to be back and see lots of familiar faces, the pub is always full and always a pleasure to play at
The Alvaston & Crewton Men's Social Club was a new venue for us a great venue nice stage and dance floor and we were made to feel very welcome by the staff and the regulars, was a great night with lots of dancing involved we will be hoping to be going back at some point.
The bond Rally was again a great success the weather held off and we all had a great time and lots of fantastic feedback, thank you to Denis Jump who really went to town with the organisation of the rally and he even managed to get us a mention on radio Leicester. We had some great photo's of the band lined up next to about 10 bonds cars, we will look forward to seeing them.
Somerset summer party was a blast big thank you to James Collins for drumming was great to play with him again, we had a great time and even jammed out some Blues with Matt's Dad Mick on lead guitar. We all had a most enjoyable time dancing, or dad dancing should i say, to the disco and what a great BBQ!
